Obituary of Joan E. Pearson

Joan E. Pearson, 78 passed away at her home on Friday, February 21, 2020 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Battenville, NY on September 23, 1941 to the late George and Thelma (Crosier) Randall. Joan enjoyed hard work her entire life as it complemented her strong independent, feisty personality. She worked for many years alongside her family on the Pearson Farm as well as the Hoof N Paw Vet Clinic, Country Peddler and Fort Miller. She was one hell of a baker and was famous for her desserts, especially her pies and peanut butter frosting. However, she was stubborn when it came time to share her recipes. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Niel M. Pearson; her grandson Charlie Pearson; and her brother George Randall. She is survived by her loving children, Charlie (Debbie) Pearson, Eric (Patti) Pearson, and Dianne “Beatle” (Bob) Noble; grandchildren Michael Pearson, Rob (Maura) and Nels Noble; great-grandchildren Vera and Kyrah Noble; several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her special friend William Lyons. At Joan’s request there will be no funeral services. The family requests memorials in Joan’s name be made to any local SPCA or Animal Shelter.
