Obituary of Cynthia Wood

Cynthia M. Wood, 59, a resident of Route 4 South, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness. Born April 17, 1954 in Cohoes, NY she was the daughter of the late Eugene Boivin and Gloria Getman of Victory Mills. Cindy was a graduate of Keveny Academy in Cohoes and the Austin Beauty School. She worked for over 20 years at Sherwood Medical in Argyle and retired from C.R. Bard in Queensbury. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved Sunday breakfasts at her Moms. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dennis Wood of Schuylerville; 2 daughters, Patience Davidson and her husband William of Greenwich and Denise Eustis of Schuylerville; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Martin (Meg) and Haleigh Eustis; her mother-in-law, Gerry Wood (and the late Robert Wood) of SC; her 9 siblings; Claudia Foster, Cathy Skiba, Kevin Boivin, Cherie Grooznack, Carol Gillis, Mark Boivin, Clair Robertson, Marty Boivin, and Carla Swederski; several nieces and nephews and her beagle Annie. A funeral service will be held at 7pm Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7pm prior to the service.
