Obituary of Nancy L. Ashcroft

Nancy Lee French Ashcroft left her family farm on a beautiful May 2nd day to reunite with her father William French who passed before her. Nancy worked at Glens Falls Hospital for many years. She loved cooking and baking chocolate chip cookies for her little mouths to eat. Her greatest pleasures were spending time with her family, walking on the beach and hunting for treasures. Nancy’s spirit will continue on in the hearts of those who loved her; her husband Larry Ashcroft; children, Chad and Keri St. John, Timothy St. John, Jessica St. John Smith and Larry and Kari Ashcroft; her beloved grandchildren, Megean, Allyson, Samantha, Chad, Avery, Hanna, Hailey, Evan and Kelsy; her special friends, Easton, Caroline, Zachary and Tyler; her mother Edith French; siblings, Glenda and Dick Hastings, Jeffery and Kathy French, Loraine and Mel Rose, Ruth and John Andrews, Richard and Linda Ashcroft, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy’s spunky humor and life lessons will forever be cherished by the many lives she touched. A funeral service will be held at 6pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Schuylerville United Methodist Church, Church St., Schuylerville. Friends may call on Monday from 4-6pm at the church prior to the service. Nancy and her family would like to thank Dr. John Stoutenburg and the nursing staff of T2 South at Glens Falls Hospital.
