Beautiful boy with a beautiful heart. Thank you for your gift to me, for allowing me to give you back a smile that I hope lasted you some time. You were a true fighter, a golden heart of fire, a lion in every sense. Onto a place where you’ll be free to run and fly again, no more pain, no more to want. Rest well my friend.

May God Bless you and hold you in his arms. Your Caeden was an angel of light on earth. He lit up all that met him and he crawled into their soul in the most beautiful of ways! Caeden did just this when we met him on his 16th birthday. Matthew loved his friend and classmate and will miss him so much. We will always keep you in our prayers.

My memories of Caeden are the fun times we had together in Ms Robert’s class. All the times I got to hang out with him at his home, playing video games. I will miss having him, as my next door neighbor. Lots of love Caeden!
Love, Gracelyn Risenhoover❤️

I never met Caeden but I did know his Father, Jack, through help he had given me in the past. Told me about the disease effecting his son, very unfortunate for any child. He was much loved and will be missed.

I graduated from Schuylerville High School in 2017. While I was a few years older than Caeden, I rememeber seeing him around the school environment and at events. Caeden had a presence unlike most people I have ever met. He gave off the vibe of someone with a truly kind and genuine heart. My condolences to his family and I hope he is finally resting easy.

I knew Caeden for a long time. I helped him in chorus, made a few funny jokes with him, and talk a lot about wrestling with him. Every time he comes into chorus class we instantly started talking about what happened the night prior on WWE, AEW, or any other indy wrestling promotion. Not only he was a big wrestling fan but he is the most caring person ever. My little brother got in a skiing accident and broke his leg and Caeden always asked how he’s been doing and if he’s out of the cast yet. Just talking to Caeden and being friends with him really touched me. He literally was going through the depths of hell with what’s going on in his life but talking to him and being there for him at school didn’t feel like he was suffering. He was the bravest, strongest, funniest, and sweetest person ever. I’m going to miss you buddy. I hope god takes good care of you in heaven.

Though I only new Caeden for a year, he has left a profound impact on me. His sense of humor, even through tough times, will always be remembered. I enjoyed every second I spent with him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I would talk to Caeden when I saw him in the hallway going to lunch. I would ask him what was going on in WWE. He would give me a quick low down of what has happened. He was a kind and gentle kid. I will miss seeing him in school although I know he graduated. He was beautiful. Please take care and God Bless!!

Although Matthew can not talk I know he loved Caeden very much. When Caeden spoke to Matthew he would always stop and
listen to him. They had a special connection and Matthew seemed to understand him. Matthew in all his excitement would bop everyone on the head with quite forceful excitement but Matthew knew Caeden and would always walk behind his wheelchair and gently touch the top of his head. He knew not to bop Caeden like he does to all others and was always gentle with him. Caeden would put his hand on top of his tray palm up and Matthew would touch his hand gently. That was their high fives.Matthew was always mesmerized when Caeden spoke to him as if they had a special language all their own. I know Matthew will miss his buddy and the special connection he had with him.
Our hearts are filled with sorry at his passing and we will miss his sweet nature and love of life.

Oh sweet boy, how I will miss you. We did so much together. Going to the pumpkin patch, Barnes and Noble and of course Game Stop. You took great joy in beating my butt in guitar hero and telling me I cant sing (karaoke). What I will miss the most, besides your smile and laugh, is baking with you. You always had to sneak your fingers in the batter of whatever we were making, just to taste. You are truly what love looks like and feels like. I will forever miss you. Be free my love!
