Obituary of Rose Vallone

Rose Schiavelli Vallone, of Saratoga Springs, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 of natural causes at the age of 93. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved nothing more than to cook lavish meals and crochet beautiful gifts for her loved ones. She was predeceased by her son Michael Vallone, daughter Dolores Vallone, and grandson Vincent Vallone. Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, Sal Vallone of Saratoga Springs; her children Diana “Toni” Vallone Steele (William) of Ocala, FL, Rod Vallone of Saratoga Springs, Patricia Vallone of Glens Falls, and Carl Vallone (Beth) of Greenwich. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and her beloved dog and companion “Peaches Vallone”. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, June 20, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
