Obituary of Elsie Randall Coons

Elsie (Randall) Coons, age 78, was born in Clifton Park, NY on May 27, 1935. She is predeceased by her parents James & Olive Millington; three brothers, Ronald, Wayne, and Norman Millington; one sister, Alice Williams, and two infant daughters Olive & Sheila Coons, a grandson, Alan Eichorst Jr., and two infant great grandchildren. She married Norman Coons in 1943, they were married 30 years until his death in 1982. She was a housewife all her life and loved to be around her family and friends. She loved collecting anything, from spoons all over the world, to teacups, wind chimes and she loved Angel figurines! She loved garage sales and getting a great bargain. Her apple pies were loved by all. She loved her dogs Toby, Nicki, and Macey May. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart and smiled whenever she saw them. She will be sincerely missed by all! She is survived by her 5 daughters Ina (Alan) Eichorst of Greenfield Center, Claudia Coons & (Tony) Turner of Port Jervis, NY , Darlene (Bill) Pratt also of Greenfield Center, Alice (Tony) White of Victory Mills and Norma (Art Jr.) Thivierge of Schuylerville ; 1 Son Norman Jr. (Deena) Coons of Glens Falls. Her grandchildren Christina (Eric) Armburst, Alicia (Shawn) Russell ,Roger (Annie) Kelly, Katherine (John) Holmstead, Tony Jr., Autumn and Tiffany Turner, James (Jen) White, Ashley (Kekoa) Comeaux, Tiara, Emajie, and Jaden White , Billy Pratt , and Elizabeth, Brittany, and Brooke Thivierge, Corey and Tyler McGarr, and Hayley Coons . 16 Great Grandchildren , several nieces, nephews, cousins and her wonderful Aunt Marion Gill. The family would like to express their love and appreciation to all involved with her care. Her caregivers Sonia Rawlins , Tracy Hill, and all the visiting nurses, Dr. O'Kosky and the staff at Saratoga Hospital , Wesley Health Care and Hospice of Saratoga Springs. A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. A gathering will follow at the Victory Mills Fire House. Friends may call on Thursday prior to the service from 11-12:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
