Obituary of Crystal Cartwright

Crystal Cartwright, 101 years of age, passed away January 8, 2022, peacefully at home, in Northumberland, NY, surrounded by loving family. Crystal was born in, and resided in Cobleskill, NY until 2002. Following her beloved husband’s passing, she relocated to reside with her son and his family. Crystal was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Marion (Mallett) Schrader; husband, Donald Cartwright; infant daughter, Darlene Marie Cartwright; son Larry Cartwright; daughter, Barbara Cartwright Moore, and 9 siblings. Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Bailey (Richmondville, NY) and Ruth Friedow (Middletown, NY); three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 4 four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Honoring Crystal’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service is planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a “celebration of life” is planned. Interment will be Briarwood-Fernwood Garden Mausoleum, Memory Garden’s, Albany, NY.
