Obituary of Kenneth L. Peregrim

Kenneth L. Peregrim, a resident of Overlook St., Greenwich, passed away Friday, September 27th, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Ken was born on October 6th, 1956 to Audrey Booth (late Peter Booth) and Paul Peregrim (Shirley). Ken graduated from Greenwich Central School and WSWHE BOCES in 1975. He was employed by SCA Paper Company. Ken had many passions in his life including hunting, fishing, puttering in his garage and helping anyone who needed a hand. He was happiest surrounded by his children and grandchildren who were the center of his heart. He was predeceased by his brother Bryan Peregrim and his best buddy and son-in-law Scott James, his father-in-law Robert R. Lambert and stepdad Peter Booth. Survivors include his wife, Lindy (Melinda) Lambert Peregrim, in his words “the one I loved and cherished for 40 years.” His two devoted children Lynn Marie Peregrim James (Dan Scott) and Amanda Peregrim Grimes (Justin). Also surviving are his grandchildren; Austin, Jacob and Carmen James, Annamarie Scott, and Jarryd Grimes. Ken is also survived by his three future grand-babies. Also surviving are his siblings; Edward (Kristina) Peregrim, Paul Peregrim, Byron (Karen) Peregrim and Keith Peregrim, mother-in-law, Marie Lambert, brother-in-laws Mal (Diana) Lambert, Lyman (Laura) Lambert and Warren (Arvada) Lambert, nieces Melissa and Meko Peregrim, Ivry, Gina, Katie, Lauren and Becky Lambert and nephews Edward and Bryon Peregrim, Conor, Robert and Steven Lambert. Ken wished to thank his brother Keith, brother-in-law Lyman and good friends Ted Mosher, Jim VanNess and Tim McInerney for their support for during this trying period in his life. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
