Obituary of Mary S. Colvin

Mary S. Colvin, 72, of Schuylerville, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Born October 4, 1940 in Catskill, NY she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Soncini. Mrs. Colvin enjoyed camping, traveling and her 654 Girls Night. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Colvin Sr.; daughter, Lee Ann Norris; and sister, Barbara Soncini. Survivors include 2 sons, Edward Colvin Jr. of Texas and Andrew Colvin of Schuylerville; 1 daughter, Christine Drew of Florida; siblings Robert Soncini of Glens Falls, Patricia Soncini of Albany, Betty Soncini of Catskill, and Frank Soncini of Texas; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorials can be made in her memory to Old Saratoga Post #278 American Legion, Clancy St., Schuylerville, NY 12871.
