Obituary of Frances L. Gannon

Frances L . Gannon, 95, a former resident of Greenwich, died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Hoosick Falls Health Center. Born June 13, 1918 in South Cambridge, NY she was the daughter of the late Peter and Bertha Bailey Geelan. Frances was a graduate of Cambridge Central School. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and traveling all over the world. She loved to talk with people and attend her grandchildren's school sporting events. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Gannon in 1988; her brother, Foster Geelan, and sister, Gladys Thomas. Survivors include her children, Robert (Barbara) Gannon of Greenwich, William (Vicki) Gannon of Summerville, NC, and Betsy Gannon of Corning, NY; grandchildren, Kelly (Joseph) Donahue, Kyle (Janeen) Gannon, Becky Wyckoff and Peter Gannon; great grandchildren Kellen, Molly and Kathryn Gannon; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Greenwich. There will be no calling hours.
