Obituary of Robert Voda

Robert "Bob" Voda, 78, a resident of Mountain Rd in Greenwich, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born June 8, 1943, in Pittston, Pennsylvania, to the late John Sr. and Ann (Adams) Voda. Robert was well educated through catholic schools, including Kings College Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. After college he obtained a teaching position at Schuylerville Central School. He taught English/Literature for over 35 years. During the racing season at Saratoga Racetrack, he worked track security and retired as a lieutenant supervisor. Robert was an avid fisherman, loved basketball, and most importantly loved his family. He was an avid reader of books and had a passion for literature. He is survived by his brothers John and Christopher Voda, Nieces: Taetra Dobosh, Athena Voda, Cherri Lynn Heisey, and nephew, Johnathan Voda. There will be no prior calling hours. Graveside services in the family plot will take place at 12pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 451-499 Schooley Ave, Exeter, PA 18643.
