Obituary of Peyton Austin Wilbur

Peyton Austin Wilbur, 26, a Greenwich resident passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Peyton was born on November 28, 1995, a month early and ready to conquer the world. He was a Greenwich High School graduate and was employed by Grasshopper Gardens.

Peyton rarely met a person he couldn’t start a conversation with and always came away with a story to tell! Peyton was a true and loyal friend to so many people. He loved with his whole heart and had the quirkiest sense of humor!  He had an infectious smile and loved to live a bit on the wild side. He loved snowboarding with his brother, hanging out with his many friends, playing cornhole, fishing, and spending time at the beach or on the water.

He is survived by many people that loved him to the moon and will miss him more than words can describe. This includes his father, Stephen Wilbur of Greenwich; his mother Jamie Wilbur and her partner Andre Gaudet of Ruskin, Fl; his brothers, Joey Dziemianzuk and his wife Ana from Utah, and Jon Wilbur and his wife Paula from Greenwich. He is also survived by his loving Grandparents, James Crutchfield from Alabama; BJ Summerlin of Gainesville Fl; and Margaret and Donald Wilbur of Greenwich; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 2-5pm at the Greenwich Elks Club, 130 Bulson Rd., Greenwich, NY to share your memories and raise your glass in celebration of a life lost to soon.
