Obituary of Shirley A. Mabb

Shirley A. Mabb, 90, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs.

Born July 6, 1932 in Schuylerville, she was the daughter of the late Eliza Knowlton Wendell.

Shirley was a graduate of Schuylerville Central School.  She worked for Robert Reis, Standard Manufacturing, and as a home health aide. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, puzzles, camping, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her family. She loved people.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Philip Mabb; her brother, Stewart Knowlton; and 2 sisters, Mildred Oquinn and Ruth Keeley Rubey.

Survivors include her children, son, Philip (Sue) Mabb; daughter, Mary (Rod) Foster, daughter, Helen (Robert) Mosher, son, James Mabb, and son, William Mabb; 17 grandchildren; many blessed great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4pm Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave. Ext., Schuylerville.  A service will be held at 4pm.  Spring burial will be in the Bacon Hill Cemetery.

Memorials in her memory can be made to the Humane Society.
