Obituary of MaryAlice M Sprague

MaryAlice M. (LeClaire) Sprague, of Easton, NY, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June, 18, 2023. 

MaryAlice was born in Troy, NY, on April 19, 1941, to the late Arthur and Edna LeClaire.

She graduated from Watervliet High School.  MaryAlice could always be found in her gorgeous flower gardens, with her music always playing in the background.  Christmas was a special time for her, she always went over the top.  When you walked into her house her beautiful Christmas tree and extravagant Christmas village, were always on display. 

She greatly enjoyed taking many trips to Pennsylvania, especially with her family.  She always looked forward to long drives with her husband Larry, that would always end up being many, many miles traveled together. 

MaryAlice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence Sprague Jr. (Larry), and their 3 children, Jeanette (Donald) Miclette, Scott (Patricia) Sprague, and Terry Sprague; MaryAlice dedicated her life to raising her children and eight grandchildren, Jeremy Sprague, Daniel Miclette, Christine (Sean) Kelleher, Shawn Sprague, Scott Sprague Jr., Corey  Miclette, Samantha Sprague and Jennifer Sprague; four great-grandchildren, Haylee Kelleher, Logan Kelleher, Jameson Miclette, Grayson Sprague; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, George LeClaire, John LeClaire, and Michael LeClaire along with her sister RoseMary Cohen. 

Funeral services for MaryAlice will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Family and friends may call from 12 to 2 pm prior to her service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow her funeral service at the Easton Rural Cemetery.
