Obituary of Morgan Tyler Petralia

Morgan Tyler Petralia, 33, lost his battle with addiction on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Saratoga Springs. 

He was born February 11, 1990, in Saratoga Springs, NY, to Wayne Petralia and Nancy (Drew) Gardner.

Morgan could light up any room he walked into, providing endless laughter and jokes wherever he went.  One of his favorite things to do was to pester and annoy his sisters, making them crabwalk and always playing jokes on them.

Morgan was truly a social butterfly; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed help.  He enjoyed spending time and playing video games with his nephews.  Morgan was a thrill seeker, he loved to go cliff jumping at Lake Luzerne, bowling, riding motorcycles and was a diehard Raiders fan. 

The light of Morgans life was his daughter Aria Grace Nichol, and his former girlfriend, Kayleigh.  When he wasn’t struggling with the darkness of addiction, Morgan had a heart of gold, and his light was pure and bright. 

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carol Drew and paternal grandparents, Sadie, and John Petralia; aunt, Anne Rodgers; uncle, Joe Petralia.

He is survived by his mother and father, Nancy (Drew) Gardner and Wayne Petralia; sisters, Nikki (Terrance Washburn) Petralia and Ronnie (Jordan Nichols) Gardner; maternal grandfather, Joseph Drew; his daughter, Aria Grace Nichol; former girlfriend, Kayleigh; his awesome niece and nephews, Xavier, Matthew, Tyler, and Juliana.

A celebration of his life will be planned and announced at a later date.
