Obituary of Terry Scott Snell

Terry Scott Snell, 69, a resident of Cynthia Meadows in Greenwich passed away. suddenly, on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

He was born on May 26, 1954, in Cambridge, NY, to the late H. Rodney and Eileen S. (Sloan) Snell.

Terry was a generous man with a heart of gold.  He would help anyone who needed it and often gave others rides in his prized F150 pickup. He was an excellent mechanic most recently working as a mechanic at H&V paper mill where he was affectionately referred to as “Bear.” Terry was a familiar face around the Cynthia Meadows community, as well as the Greenwich McDonalds & Cambridge Village Market, where he would always give a smile and kind gesture. He enjoyed collecting CB radios & talking with folks using the handle, “Silver Bullet.” He also enjoyed communicating with his family members nightly on a two-way radio.

He was an avid fan of motor sports, especially NASCAR, drag racing & he was a true motorcycle enthusiast. He loved fast cars, & watching cars go fast.

He is survived by many cousins and countless friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery, 168 Cemetery Rd, Salem, NY, 12865, where he will be laid to rest alongside his parents, who he had a deep love for.
