Obituary of Jane Wahl

Jane Wahl (Fuller, Brown) passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at The Pines in Glens Falls to join her beloved daughter Pamela.

Born March 24, 1930 at the family farm on Feeder Dam Road, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Pauline Edgerly Fuller.

Jane attended first through sixth grade at the (Town of Moreau) Feeder Dam One Room Schoolhouse and graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1947.  She worked for the Red Cross after high school, as well as the Thomson Paper Mill, Chase Bag, and as a Home Health Aide.

She enjoyed traveling and get-togethers with family and friends.  She had many friends at Midtown Apartments.  Special thanks to Danielle and Carol for their kindness to her while she lived there, as well as the staff at The Pines for the great care they gave her while she was there. She also loved going to the shows and plays her daughter and granddaughter were in.

Jane was predeceased by her two husbands, Nelson Brown and Otto Wahl; her daughter, Pamela Brown Barker; her brothers and their spouses, Fred Jr. (Amelia), Gordon (Theresa), Harold (Leona), and Sheldon who passed away in his youth; sister, Bernice (Ernie) LaPlanche, her special sister Marion (Eugene) Hughto, and two infant sisters, Grace and Hazel; and her special friend Roy Moss.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Eleanor (Lehman) Brown; granddaughter,  Arianna  “Toby”  Barker; step-granddaughters, Kimberly (Joseph) Wait and Patricia Billings; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 11am Saturday, November 25, 2023 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Schuylerville.
