Obituary of Russell A. Conlee

Russell (Russ) A. Conlee, 67, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born March 25, 1956 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of Ralph and Mary Lu Kirk Conlee.

Russell had been employed for many years at Pregis in Glens Falls. In his retirement years he worked for the Town of Northumberland Highway Department, making many friends along the way.

He was predeceased by his loving parents Ralph and Mary Lu Conlee.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lisa Conlee of Schuylerville; his children, Adam Conlee and wife Blair of Gansevoort; Katlyn Naccarato and husband Mike of Gansevoort; his cherished grandsons Wyatt and Cohen Conlee; his siblings Rick Conlee and wife Lorrie of Schuylerville, Lee R. Conlee of Gansevoort, Nancy Duckett and husband Mark (Markus) of Gansevoort, Scott Conlee and wife Lynn of Bracey, VA, Tammy Covello (Mia); several very special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; and his Saturday Night Poker Family.

Russell will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to all. Family vacations, camping, family BBQ’s, family card nights, enjoying a cigar and good meal were something he always looked forward to.

In his spare time, you would find Russell grilling up some “Fluffy Chicken”, drinking a Coor’s or Bloody Mary, cutting wood for his daily bon fires, seasonal hunting (forgetting his bullets, bolts), fishing and taking care of his chickens. Every year he would strive to have the best garden than ever before. Later in life, while his mother was in the nursing home, he loved to help with events- playing Bingo and Santa Clause for the residents. His favorite part of the week was Saturday Poker nights in his man cave, with his “Poker family”. Russell was always known to be the comedian and life of the party!

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff that has provided care to Russell for the past month. Especially Ashlee, Calan, Adriane, Anne, Dr. Chaudry, Dr. Kalifa, Dr. Yun, Dr. Munro and Dr. Lagace.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, with Celebrant Jason Easton, officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday from 12-2pm prior to the service.  Spring burial will be at the convenience of the family.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at the Saratoga Springs PBA Range- 5 Bliven Way, Saratoga Springs, following the services.
