Obituary of Alicia Busha

Alicia Busha, 39, a mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Cohoes, NY.

She was born August 18, 1984, in Plattsburgh, NY, to James Busha and Charlotte A. Winchell.

Alicia always had a larger-than-life personality.  She was loud at times, announcing her presence in any room she entered.  Alicia loved her children more than anything, her greatest gift in this world was being a mother.  She was funny, loved listening to rap music, attending concerts, and absolutely hated snakes. She worked as a custodian for the MVP Arena in Albany. 

Alicia’s love and kindness will be missed by this world, she left us way too soon.

She is predeceased by her mother Charlotte A. (Winchell) Youmans.

She is survived by her loving children, Kiara Cenate, Kiersten Cenate, Kiyana Busha, and Jace Busha; brother, Joshua Hunt; sister’s, Shannon Busha, Jamie Busha and Kaylin Busha; uncles, Clifton, Earl and George Winchel; stepfather, Great Youmans.

A visitation for close family and friends will be held from 12 to 2 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Spring burial will be held in the Fairmount Cemetery in Quaker Springs, NY.
