After moving home due to a tragic loss I found myself working at Carmody Ford. From the minute I met Craig we were friends.we spent many summer Saturdays talking about our family and friends. He had an hysterical sense of humor and such a huge heart and his daughter Lexi was all he could talk about!

My condolences to Coleen, Matt, Craig’s family and loved ones. May you find strength, peace, and comfort during this time and in the days ahead. Craig was a great friend. From the first day we met in elementary school and throughout high school our small group of friends were inseparable. We would shoot hoops after school in Craig’s driveway in middle school, go fishing or tubing on the weekends, and ride our bikes all around Greenwich. Life was always an adventure hanging out with Craig. Never a dull moment! He was always in a good mood and could always make anyone laugh with his witty sense of humor. We had many fun times growing up together. I am grateful for our friendship and the many laughs over the years. The memories we have shared will always bring a smile to my face. Craig will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

I, too, am mourning the loss of our dear nephew Craig and send deepest sympathies and prayers to Lexi, Coleen and Matt. I was 10 years old when Craig was born and spent many summers in Penn Yann with Craig and Matt at their father's home during the summer and spent time on the lake fishing. My mother, Marge Kyer was happy when Craig would visit as he also liked to paint with her. I wish we had spent more time together in our adult lives. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences to Coleen and Craig’s family. I spent a lot of time with Craig when we worked at Cristaldi’s and Carmody’s. He was a great friend and like a little brother to me. Prayers to his family at this difficult time and I know he’s flying high with the angels. Rest easy my friend

To Craig's Family.....especially to his Mom who we got to meet within the past few months.. Having Craig for a neighbor was a blessing. He was such a very nice man. A couple of years ago, for no reason at all, he took over mowing my lawn. I asked why and he just said "that's what I do". It came at the perfect time though, as I was going to have to give up doing it myself due to physical issues. He did not know about that at the time, so it was just him being the awesome guy that he was. Then, there was a point in time where his flag set up needed repairing and he also needed a new flag. Well, I offered to have my son do it as he had already done the same repairs for his flag pole. Craig accepted the offer so at that point, both my sons got to meet him. It all went well and Craig was very happy and it was nice for him to get to meet my sons. We are all so very sorry that he is gone and yes, it was way too early. We will never forget him and he will always be remembered as an awesome friend and neighbor. Ruth Ann, Charles, and Eric Galuski.

Randy and I are mourning the loss of our dear nephew Craig and send deepest sympathies and prayers to Lexi, Coleen and Matt. I would like to think that Craig inherited a bit of work confidence and property maintenance from his Grandfather George Kyer. George returned from WWII, with medals, and a drive to start a dairy farm (beginning with two Holsteins) providing milk to the schools and homes in Hoosick Falls. He did just that (including building his own bottling plant) until 1959 when he sold his 200 acre farm with all the essential elements of a successful dairy operation. In 1960 he entered the U.S. Dept. of Ag. training program for County Agents, which was his full-time employment until his death in 1982. At the same time in 1960 he and his Uncle Nate Bierwirth established a horse farm for racing Quarter Horses. "Big Topper" was his winning stallion until his injury in 1962. After he sold the horse farm, he invested in two historic buildings in Eagle Bridge. One continued as The Eagle Hotel which was a bar and grill and the other building site (after a devastating fire) became the Eagle Bridge Post Office. In 1969 when he became the Cty. Agent for Ren. Cty., he sold the Eagle Hotel and moved the family to a four acre (with trout pond) home in Snyders Corners. Grandmother Marge Kyer adored the letters (which she kept forever) she received from Craig and cherished his summer visits. Craig held a special place in Grandmother Marge's heart. Craig was a joy and will surely be missed by all! Mayor Jan (Kyer) Krampitz
