Obituary of John Cofrancisco

John “Coke” Cofrancisco, 80 of Middle Falls, passed away Thursday June 26, 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Born Sept. 5, 1933 in Cambridge, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Julia (DiCaprio) Cofrancisco. On October 18, 1959 John married Bette-Jean Perry at Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville. They had a great 54 years together. John was a former member of the Middle Falls Fire Department and was a Korean War Veteran serving in Japan. He was employed by Glens Falls Insurance Company for a short time in the early 50’s then went to work for G E in Hudson Falls/Fort Edward for 41 years. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. John’s favorite past times were hunting and collecting old cars. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Harold “Babe” Cofrancisco. Left to cherish John’s memory in addition to his wife, are a nephew Scott Cofrancisco and several cousins especially Harold Spiezio Jr., Debbie Rogers, Virginia McLaren, and Mary Sala and neighbor Michael Faile who were great help and support during John’s illness and at the time of his death. Also his kitty “Tordi”. John’s request was that his services would be private. After a family service at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Fisher, interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
