I was a high school friend of Dick's and remember well how he loved to sing. We dated a few times and every time I hear "Let's Take An Old Fashioned Walk" I think of Dick who held my hand as we walked down Grand Avenue singing. Sixty-five years later, it still makes me smile when I think of him. My sincere sympathy to his family. May all your happy memories bring you comfort and peace.

I had the honor of following Dick as Superintendent of Schools in Schuylerville and he was well respected in that role. Funny as life is, my wife (Sandra Wilks Class of 1967) knew him at RCK as a Guidance Co and I did a short role as Principal fill-in after I retired (2003). Great staff that sadly did not carry over into the DO or BOE. Dick was a professional who was a role model for many. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

So very sorry to see that Mr. Jacobson has passed. He was my guidance counselor while I attended RCK in 1965. He was a quiet man, who treated us with care and compassion.

Dear Margaret, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I just adore you, Margaret, and feel so very sad for your loss. I will call next week and would love to just see you and perhaps take you out for lunch. Please know that even though I met your husband, "Dick" just once when you came to our home for dinner, I thought he was such a kind and sweet man. I know that the two of you felt blessed to have married and to have shared such a wonderful life together. Love you dearly, Vera

Dear Margaret and Family, I was sad and surprised to read of Mr. Jacobson's passing. When I last saw him at the school vote, I didn't realize that he was as ill then. He was very nice to work for and I will never forget his kindness when he surprised me by making all the arrangements for Harrison and I to be able to fly out to California to be with Keith for his surgery. He had contacted Bob D'Andrea and between the two of them, they had confirmed flights, our rooms at the Presidio and everything else was all done before he told me. I plan on being at the service on Friday. Sincerely, Lois
