Obituary of Max Jamison

Max Jamison 73, friend of Bill W. for over 39 years, went to be with Jesus Tuesday July 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Max was born January, 11, 1941 in Manhattan, NYC. In May of 1978 Max married Kathleen Clark in Ozone Park, NYC. They shared a wonderful 36 years together. Max was a former United States Army Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. Max worked for New York City's sanitation department from the late 1960's to the early 1980's, during this time he was a Guardsmen and Reservist in the U.S. Army. Max took great comfort in providing for his family. He enjoyed being a community leader in Greenwich. Max was an avid Mets fan and enjoyed watching pro wrestling. Left to cherish Max's memory are his wife, son Matthew T. Jamison of Greenwich; daughter Sarah and her partner Lexi of Medford MA; as well as many beloved friends. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am Monday July 28, 2014 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 147 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834, Rev. William "Chip" Strickland Jr. officiating, following the service interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Friends may call from 2-4 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St. Greenwich, NY, 12834.
