Obituary of Barbara June Butz

Barbara June Butz, 61, a resident of Corinth, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Albany Medical Center. Born September 2, 1952 in Saratoga Springs, NY she was the daughter of the late Francis and June Lillibridge Nevins. Barbara was a graduate of Schuylerville Central High School and had been employed at Angiodynamics in Glens Falls for several years. She was a fun-loving person and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and family get-togethers. Survivors include her husband, Carl Fluharty Sr. of Corinth; 2 sons, Andrew Butz of Saratoga Springs and Jason (Li) Butz of Easton; 2 brothers, Roger Nevins of Titusville, FL and Dennis Nevins of Northumberland; 3 sisters, Jeannie Martin of Victory Mills, Linda Nevins of Moreau, and Rebecca Chapman of Glens Falls; 1 granddaughter, Lorianna Butz; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, August 15, 2014 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, with Pastor Dean Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in Victory Mills Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday prior to the service from 12-2pm at the funeral home.
