Obituary of James E. Sanders

James E. Sanders, 77, of Lick Springs Rd., Greenwich, passed away Sunday August, 17, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. Born March, 2,. 1937 in Fort Miller, NY, he was the son of the late Earl and Lorena (Yandow) Sanders Sr. and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Jim's life was about family, friends, hunting and fixing anything and everything for everybody for only a thank you. In addition to his mother and father he was predeceased by 3 brothers Earl W. Sanders Jr., Joseph H. Sanders, and Robert H. Sanders, 3 sisters Elizabeth L. Humiston, Rita M. Booth, and Lena R. Weatherwax; and his best friend Paul Squires. Survivors include his beloved sister, Jane Sanders of Greenwich; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August, 20, 2014 in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, NY, with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. There will be no callings hours. Memorials can be made in James memory to the Argyle Emergency Squad.
