Obituary of Alice M. Greaves

Alice M. Greaves, 74, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born March, 20, 1940 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late John J. Bailie and Anna M. Salway. Alice was a homemaker prior to her crippling stroke. Alice was a favorite barmaid at Bernie's Greenwich Inn for many years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John W. Greaves. Survivors include her loving children, Stacy (George) Thomas of Shushan, NY, Bruce Skaarup of Lake Luzerne, Scott (Judy) Skaarup of Troy, Lori (Mike) Kehoe of Westerlo, NY, Stella (Keith) Coleman of Greenwich, and Janice Skaarup of Schuylerville; 1 sister, Helen Snyder of Troy; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm Friday, March 13, 2015 at Flynn Bros. Inc., 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY, 12834, with the Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
