Obituary of Bryon K. Gray

Bryon K. Gray, 53, a resident of Mott Rd., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born May 11, 1961 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late William H. and Alice R. Weaver Gray. Mr. Gray was employed by NYSDOT in 1984 with the Tree Crew, then the Saratoga Bridge Crew, and most recently as a Skills Instructor. He was a member of the First of the 389th Airborne Division Combat Engineers with the US Army. For the past 23 years he was a welder with NYTPA, welding across the state for sanctioned tractor pulls. He enjoyed riding his Harley, and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Fisher of AZ, and his father-in-law, Lawrence Clausen of Gansevoort. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Nancy Clausen Gray of Gansevoort; his daughter, Rebecca Gray (Nick Stanislowsky) and children Emmilee Rose and Callesandra Faith; his son, William Lawrence Robert Gray (Krystal Dejulio) and son Joseph Disbrow; siblings, Philomena (Mike) Eisenhauer of Idaho, Ben (Cathy) Fisher of Saratoga Springs, Kevin (DeeDee) Gray of VT and Valerie Gray of VT; several nieces and nephews and many close friends. A funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. Friends may call on Sunday from 11-3pm prior to the service. Memorials can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105 or the Ronald McDonald House, 139 South Lake Ave, Albany, NY 12208. A gathering will be held for family and friends on Sunday following the service at the Greenwich Elks Club, Route 40, Greenwich.
