Obituary of Marjorie M. Pechette

Marjorie M. Pechette, 89, a longtime Pearl St. resident, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park. Born May 26, 1925 in Schuylerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucienne Brown Allen. Marjorie was a loving and devoted mother to her five children. After graduating from Albany Business School she was a secretary for several years before leaving work to care for her growing family. She enjoyed reading and was happiest gardening around her home. Mrs. Pechette was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church. She was a member of the church choir and the Ladies of St. Anne Rosary Society. She was also a member of Old Saratoga Seniors and the Koffee Klatch Bowling League. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Frederick N. Pechette. Survivors include her children, Linda Patterson, Gary Pechette, David Pechette, Sharon Morris, and Janet Pechette, all of Saratoga Springs; her brother, Joseph Allen of Hudson Falls; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Spring burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 4-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. Memorials can be made in her memory to the Susan B.
