Obituary of Edgar V. White

Edgar V. White Sr., a resident of Burch Lane, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs surrounded by his family. Born September 27, 1931 in Clarks Mills, NY he was the son of the late Edgar W. and Coral Monroe White. Mr. White attended Schuylerville Schools and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from Victory Specialty Packaging in Victory Mills and attended the Living Waters Church of God in Saratoga Springs. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lois Rustin White of Schuylerville; his children, Edgar V. White Jr. of Hudson Falls, Lois (Eldred) Jenkins of Madison, OH, Mark (Sherrill) White of Clute, TX, Hank (Christina) White of Saratoga Springs, and Anthony (Alice) White of Victory Mills; 1 sister, Joyce White of Schuylerville; 1 brother, William (Agatha) White of Victory Mills; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; and his best friend, Rev. Charles Huff. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, June 6, 2015 with a reception to follow at the Living Waters Church of God, 4330 State Route 50, Saratoga Springs, with Pastor Charles Huff, officiating. Burial will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 9:30am Friday, June 5, 2015 with Pastor Brett Seals, officiating. A special thanks to Nurse Deb and the staff at Wesley Health Care Center and the staff at Saratoga Hospital for the great care given to Edgar.
