Obituary of Sarah Jayne Barber

Sarah Jayne Trombley Barber, 32, a resident of Clancy St., passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 surrounded by her family, at the home of her Aunt Ellen and Uncle Sean Hardy in Clifton Park, after a long battle with breast cancer. Born February 10, 1983 in Cohoes, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Judy Cucchi Trombley III. Sarah was a 2001 graduate of Cohoes High School and had worked at State Farm Insurance in Ballston Spa. She was a lifelong softball player and was a coach for her sons T-Ball team this past spring. She was a die-hard NY Yankee and NY Giants fan, and was an avid follower of the Dave Matthews Band. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Lois Brabizon Trombley, and maternal grandparents, Dolores and James Cucchi. Survivors include her devoted husband of 9 years, Adam C. Barber and loving 5 year old son, Andrew "Roo" Barber of Schuylerville; 2 brothers, William Trombley IV and Thomas Trombley, both of Cohoes; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Stan Barber of Schuylerville; sister-in-law, Amanda (Paul) Medick of Schuylerville; brother-in-law, Justin Barber of Superior, CO; grandparents, William and Roselois Trombley Jr., and Maxine Larmon; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at a later date.
