Obituary of Suzanne M. Poudrier

Suzanne M. Poudrier, 64 , a resident of Cossayuna Lake passed away, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Born March, 31, 1951 in East Syracuse, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert Galuski and Felicia Galuski (Usiatynski) Suzanne was a dedicated and passionate teacher for 40 years who nurtured generations of students. At home she dedicated her life to spending time with her grandchildren and family. She spent countless hours tending to her beautiful gardens and her many plants. She also loved rummaging through antique stores and markets adding to her extensive collections. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Laurie Henecke and brother, Charles Galuski. Survivors include her daughter, Adriane (Arnado) and Anthony Calhoun of Argyle; grandsons Anthony Jr. and Axxton Calhoun of Argyle; step-mother Jeanne Galuski of Kirkville, NY; sisters Nancy St. Andrew of E. Syracuse, NY, Diane Donnelly of E. Syracuse, NY; brother-in-law, William Henecke of Syracuse, NY; sister- in- law Emily G. Dydo of Waterford, VT; beloved niece, Naomi Arnado and William Kelley of Bedford NH; as well as several nieces and nephews and her enthusiastic fun loving friends. A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. LaMont Robinson, officiating.
