My condolences to the family. Claudia more personally, I want to thank you for being a hero to your Mom in making sure she got to live out her life in her own home, with the every day comfort of a loving family, and not around strangers. It's not always easy to do the right thing, in fact... it's so hard sometimes, and most people won't ever know how difficult yet rewarding it is.
I know her absence is like a huge void right now in the house, but I know that will pass with many funny memories and future unexpected visits, in ways that make you wonder if she is peeking in on you. I wish more people would make the effort to do what you did for their family... especially a parent. Your mom is smiling... though I'm sure she hated to leave. Take care... and be proud of yourself!

Barb was such an awesome lady who impacted so many lives. I am so grateful for every moment spent with her. She was a true gem as a friend and surrogate Mom to so many. Thank you Claudia, Christina, Alyssa and Brendon for enabling her to spend her final years at home where she wanted to be and where she belonged, surrounded by love, joy and happiness. That gift to her was also a gift to all us fortunate enough to have been part of her life. My deepest sympathies to all of her family, but take comfort knowing that she will live on forever in so many hearts!

Remembering her smile, laugh and love of family. God will love her presence as we did. Hugs to all her children and grandchildren. I am sorry to not be able to be there to pay my respects and show love... like she taught us. Take care. from her niece in FL.

I'm so sorry of the passing of Aunt Barbara J. Peck, she was a very loving, happy lady that will be missed by all that Barbara had touch their lives. I'm so glad that I was able to spend some time with her including her daughters Claudia and Jennifer this past May during a visit to New York. Love Laurie
