So sorry for your loss. Ma was one of kind. They broke the mold after her. I got to sit with her at Nick's retirement party and she had everyone at the table in tears laughing. She will be missed.

Your mom was a wonderful person that was sent down from the good Lord for all of us to have in our lives as an inspiration. She was a wonderful wife to Uncle Harold, a special kind of mom to her children and a very dear friend to so many. She made many people laugh until they cried!! I loved Aunt Doris for the beautiful person that she was. She not only was my Aunt but she was also my God Mother and I will miss her very much. Aunt Doris will always be in my mind and in my heart. I am happy that she has now joined Uncle Harold in heaven and they can now be together again. I am so sorry for your loss.

There are no words to describe the lose that we all feel. But we do know you are truly where you belong and that is with our Poppie. We can only hope to have half the life you and Pop did together. You did it all for our family. Thank you for showing me over the years how to cook, bake and most of all the chocolate frosting from scratch, that is one legacy that will live on. We love and miss you gram.

To all of Doris' Family ..she will be greatly missed. I used to hear stories about her from my Mom. They were good friends. I always liked to see them at the Dances they used to have at MFFD. The Lord has gotten another "great" Angel to his Collection. Loved Doris' smile..and she always had something funny to say. She is now with the love of her life, to spend the rest of her life. You couldn't ask for two nicer people than her and Harold. RIP Doris, for where you are is where you wanted to be. You will never be lonely again.

Jody and Tom wish to extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family and those that knew and loved Doris. She will be greatly missed by all. Doris had the best sense of humor of anyone that I knew. She will now be watching from the holes in the floor of heaven and most likely laughing or shaking her head at our antics.

How blessed I am to be the first grandchild and to always be called number one by you. I will treasure all my childhood memories, the laughter and the unconditional love that you had. The legacy of making family first, always have an open door for those in need, never letting anyone leave my home hungry and be kind to all is a value you instilled into my life. Our late nights talks in the last weeks, the laughter, the stories ,the love and you saying the words of how proud you are of me and of my beautiful daughters, and how ,much you loved my husband the cub fan I am grateful for. The nights of laying my head on your shoulder ,with tears streaming down , you comforting me in saying that you were ready to go be with pop and that you had a good life and all the good times ,are going to be what I carry with me in my heart that is missing the biggest piece that started this big Italian family.loved for eternity , we miss you already.
