Obituary of Grace Adler

Grace Adler, 94, a resident of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany, NY passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born June 3, 1921 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Caputo Capazola. Mrs. Adler worked for many years at Sarners Department Store in Stamford, CT and Noes Department Store in Bethel, CT. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Milton Adler in 1995; a brother, Nicholas Capazola and sister, Lee Burgess. Survivors include 2 sons, Jeffrey (Loretta) Adler of Saratoga Springs and Joseph (Shelby) Adler of Kent, CT; 1 daughter, Michele (Vincent) Galante of Patterson, NY; 1 brother, Joseph Capazola Jr. of Sarasota, FL; 6 grandchildren, Sam and David Adler, Lily and Naomi Adler, and Ciera and Nicholas Galante; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
