Obituary of Richard H. Linendoll

Richard H. Linendoll, 77, a resident of Route 22, Salem, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 20, 1938 in Battenville, NY to the late Herbert Linendoll and Beaulah Kelley. Richard attended Greenwich Central School and worked for many years in the local paper mills, before joining the Local Union of Roofers #241. After his retirement he enjoyed cleaning the carwash, mowing the lawn, and riding his John Deere Tractor. He greatly enjoyed camping with his friends and Country Music. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Sibinich; and infant son Ricky. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Sydney Squires Linendoll of Salem; children Millard “Bud” (Debbie) Linendoll of Greenwich, Craig (Rita) Linendoll of Salem, and Sue (Chet) Rogers of Middle Falls; brothers Michael Kelley of Greenwich and Charlie Kelley of Greenwich; 5 grandchildren Jessica “J.R” Rogers, K.C MacNeil, Ashley and Ryan Dunlea, Eric (Alyssa) Linendoll, Michael Linendoll; 4 great grandchildren Keilana, Kadyn, Mason, and his precious angel Annie. The family would like to thank Community Hospice of Saratoga for all their help and support. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Greenwich Cemetery.
