My sincere sympathy to the Tefft Family. A true historical figure passed on but she is not forgotten. Love to her family. I will try to keep some semblance of beauty at the little cemetery with the 17th century family in peace as a way to honor these Americans. Love to all.

Our thoughts are with you today. Sorry we could not be there. Your mom was a dynamic woman and we were fortunate to have known her. She left her own legacy.

My sympathy to the Tefft family. I knew Dick and Sally from the time I was a child in Salem through the Salem Press connection that then became the Journal-Press. Decades later Sally was Publisher and I was Editor of the Journal-Press for a short time and learned quite a bit about small town journalism from her. May she RIP.

My thoughts are with the Tefft family during this time of great loss. I have wonderful memories of working alongside Sally during my high school years. She helped me do the research in the old Journal files so that I could write about Whipple CIty and the winning essay for the title of the 1959 Sesquicentennial celebration in Greenwich. Sally was a pillar of our community and will be missed by all.

Sending Love and Light to all of you during this time. In your mourning and sadness may you find comfort in remembering her many years of service to her beloved community of Greenwich and celebrate with joy her long and fulfilled life. I remember fondly when my father died years ago, many friends and acquaintances attended the visitation and we all sat around telling stories, laughing and remembering the times we'd shared with him. May Sally's visitation be a similar celebration of her life.

Dear Tefft family, I was a classmate of Culver's. I remember one day while playing in your yard, I fell off of your "monkey bars". I can't remember how old I was, but I remember how nice your Mom was after getting my wind back. I remember being very scared because this was the first time I'd ever lost my breath while playing. She was very comforting!
I also remember seeing her at the Journal office through the years...and it always made me feel as if I'd come "home, which I had! The last time I saw her and talked with her was when she had her art show at the library. I remember being so surprised at was an amazing artist she was at her age. I know your faith in God will help you all through this trying time!
Sincerely,
Gwenny Powell Hughson
