Dick, Please accept my sincere sympathy at the passing of George. I will miss not running into him with you at the many eateries that we used to frequent. Audrey and I admired his knowledge of antiques and always made the Black Shutters one of our stops on our hunt for cut glass. I am so sorry I could not make the services but I am a resident at Wesley Health Care Center now and don't get out much these days. I would have liked to have seen you in person to express my condolences. If you are out this way please stop by for a visit. I am in the Victoria wing on the second floor. Again, my sincere sympathy. The e-mail below is my daughter Lynn's. You can contact me through her.

Dick, I am so sorry of your loss. I remember so fondly of the time I spent at your home and his yummy cooking. I just pulled out the two patterns yesterday that he designed for me while at Gail's retreat years back. Many hugs, Rosemary Strube, Ruth Omer in Arizona

Ron and I are so sorry to hear of George's passing. No matter if we had not talked in a week, 6 months or a year, we always picked up where we left off. George lit up a room when he walked in and was such a gifted, talented artist when I could pry him away from talking to Ron about Sandwich glass!!!! Each day in the shop we will smile as we walk by the rug hung for all to see that George designed for me to hook commemorating Ron becoming the President of the Maine Auctioneers Association. I hope George is in heaven looking down on all the joy and beautiful things he has created. With love, friendship and sympathy, Ron & Lisanne

I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. I remember seeing you guys at Green Acres every Friday for Don's spaghetti and meatball special and our talks about having lunch and watching the glassblowing at Simon Pearce. I hope the wonderful memories you have will help you through these difficult times.

I have truly enjoyed George,s friendship over the past 25 years. His tremendous knowledge and love of antiques, his fanciful rug designs, his gorgeous gardens and most of all his unique, charming personality. I hope he is enjoying a nice cold iced tea and a giant strawberry sundae up in heaven. With love and enormous sympathy, Marian
