i just want to thank everyone for all the lovely, nice, kind things you have said about my mom. she was the best and she was my best friend. this has been a rough time because i have never gone 13 days without talking to my mom. never a day even. the hardest thing a daughter can go through is happening now and i never ever thought this would happen. being naive isn't a bad thing until it happens. that's when it hits you like a brick. thank you all for loving my mom. she's still with me every day cause i feel her. just wish i could make that one phone call that i miss so much.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Lydia's family on her passing. Lydia and my Mom, "Blondie" Toleman Coffinger, were lifelong friends. They were part of the 'greatest generation', Schuylerville's pinup era girls with such great fashion style and senses of humor. Lydia came to visit her friend, Blondie, in my Mom's last days on this earth and I can only hope that my Mom helped Lydia as she transitioned from this life to the next, welcoming her to God's heavens. I'll miss Lydia's emails from a few years ago sending silly jokes or heartfelt stories along. She was a wonderful, loving, fun woman; may she rest in peace.

Lydia..Lydia..Lydia what a firecracker with so much spark, energy and light! We didn't know Lydia a long time but it sure was a " good " time being in her presence. She drew you in and there is where you happily stayed. Anyone who knew her was genuinely touched by her openly , loving spirit. We came to know Lydia through our future daughter-in-law, Cydney. Lydia showered us with love every time we were together but she adored our son, Tyler, which .. if possible .. made us love her even MORE . We will miss you " Beautiful " !!! Eternal Love, Sheila,Greg,Tyler,Nathan,Ashley&Connor Mockry

I am so sorry to hear about Lydia's passing. I had the opportunity to see her last year and visit her with my Mother Brenda Villa Gallo. Lydia was so hip and shared with me so many stories and photo's. Her young at heart, fun, loving character was so contagious. I remember when I was younger, we would always just "drop in" to see Lydia and she never knew when we were coming and was always so welcoming. She will be missed and her memory of being such a lovely lady is an inspiration to all. Thinking of the family at this difficult time. Love to all.

When I was a young girl and moved to Schuylerville, Lydia and my mother worked together at the old Middle School cafeteria. I was in high school and would go down to the middle school to see my mother during lunch and I remember Lydia well because of her smile but mostly because she was so nice. I remembered watching Lydia buzzing around the cafeteria making sure everything was done for the kids. Lydia was truly an exceptional person who was loved by all that knew her.
