Mister, Taylor and Family -
My condolences! Aunt Elsie was such a hard worker and a fun person too. Memories of overnights down at the farm where Taylor (Squirt) and I would have milk fights - I certainly got the worst of that not being a country boy (I lived in the village!) and pulling on those teets for the best squirt didn't come easy for me. Aunt Elsie would treat us to pizza at the Valley's Village Tavern and Taylor and I would just laugh at each other doing silly young teenage boy stuff which I'm sure Aunt Elsie found annoying to some degree. I know she was annoyed on one occasion after we got home and she found we had eaten MORE pizza taken from the extra pie she was bringing home for Mister. I'm sure Taylor remembers. Fond memories. Steve

To Simmons and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I will always remember the good time my son and I had when we visited the farm. Your grandma loved to entertain and had the biggest heart.

I extend my condolences to the family of Elsie Henderson . I had the pleasure of meeting Elsie on one occasion Although she was spoken about often by her caregiver Jill Patterson . Jill drove me to Elsies home to pay her a visit because Jill loved her dearly. It was a pleasure to have met Elsie in person and I was very humbled by her and her stories. The world would be a much better place if the people in it shared the same traits as Elsie . You will always be remembered in the minds and hearts of the people who love you .

It was a pleasure to have known Elsie for the last 15 years. I milked cows with her almost every morning up until she stopped. After she stopped I enjoyed stopping and having a cup of coffee with her. Now she is finally able to run through the hay fields as fast as her legs can carry her. That thought makes me happy.

We send our love and prayers to the Henderson family . Elsie was one of a kind....a truly dedicated mother and friend to all who knew her. She always let our granddaughters pet her calves and would show them around the farm. She will be missed by all.

It Wasn't Just 129 Wells Road. It Was Home!
My heart is heavy and full of sadness and I am so sorry this world has lost an amazing woman. At the same time, I am thinking about all of the wonderful times, beautiful memories and joy this woman (and my 2nd family) has given me. There were endless days of football (the deer), baseball, snowmobiling, ice skating, hockey, motorcycle riding (bandages), snowball fights, hide & seek, tents and sleepovers, snow forts, hay forts, cards and music. And we can't forget all of the sun-filled days at the pond (too many to list). She bandaged my knees, made me hot cocoa on cold winter nights, brought me home and took me under her wing when my father passed. She listened and talked when I needed a friend. She opened her home to me every day. And most important of all, she gave me her family to share my life with. She's wasn't just Elsie: my kind, sweet, wonderful neighbor. She was my 2nd Mom and I will cherish these memories always. I love you all.
